Relationships matter most! When we say "connect" we are talking about a real connection (relationship) with God and with each other. When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus said 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself." According to Jesus, love for God and people is where it's at. Relationships matter most. That's what we mean when we say "connect."

Pastor Johnny Edler is our "hometown boy", born and raised in Marion, OH and now serving as Executive Pastor. He has attended Marion First Church of the Nazarene his entire life and is now entering his thirteenth year in Ministry. It is a hard job containing all that energy of an Executive Pastor and spunky dad/ husband, but his wife Amy is doing her best after seventeen years of marriage. Johnny and Amy have two amazing daughters that share the heart of God serving within Children's Ministries. Brooke is 18, and Samantha is 15. Brooke will be attending MVNU in the fall of 2018. Pastor Johnny is an ordained minister within the Church of the Nazarene.
Johnny is all about a healthy lifestyle which includes consistent exercising, running, golf and disc golf. He is also enjoying more of the outdoors, fishing and hunting, with his daughter Brooke and his nephews. Pastor Johnny is the spunkiest of all our staff but we love his enthusiasm and willingness to answer God's call in all ministries within the church.
Pastor Gregg Parkman and his wife Wendi are celebrating their tenth year in ministry and joined MFCN in 2014. Pastor Gregg has served as Associate Pastor at Xenia Nazarene and as Lead Pastor of Riverside Nazarene, a satellite church of Xenia Nazarene.

Pastor Sawyer Harlow joined our team in October 2017. He and his wife Kayla are high school sweethearts and together they have three children: Breslin, Austin, and Emerson. Sawyer studied Leadership and Ministry at Ohio Christian University. Before coming to MFCN, he served as the Associate Youth Pastor at Heritage Church of the Nazarene in Circleville, Ohio.
He enjoys playing guitar, binge watching Netflix shows with his wife, playing with his kids, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Sawyer has a passion for teaching and preaching God’s Word. He desires to see students discover who Jesus is and how to have an authentic relationship with Him!
Pastor Nate Laughhunn felt a call to ministry in late high-school, and used his gifts in music to lead in church, give music lessons, and travel with music ministry teams around several states for years.
Nate and his wife, Michelle, met one another at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, both pursuing degrees in Marketing. They married the day after graduation, and moved a week later to begin planting church campuses in Northeastern Indiana for the Church of the Nazarene. After almost three years, they felt called to Marion, and here we are!
In their free-time, they binge-watch The Great British Baking Show, train their dog Nora to try calming down, and scourge Chipotle.
Pastor Jerry Campbell is excited to be returning to the staff at MFCN as Associate Pastor, having served here as Worship Pastor many years ago. He and his wife, Susan, met in high school band in central Illinois and were married a few years later. Jerry attended Olivet Nazarene University for three years, and then graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Spanish. He is an ordained Deacon of Christian Education in the Church of the Nazarene, having previously pastored at churches in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Arkansas, and Florida. Jerry and Susan have three sons, Jason (Kim), Joseph, and Jonathan (Aimee), and three awesome grandchildren, Preston, Sophie, and Harper. They share their home near Caledonia with Susan’s parents, Jack and Judy, and their special grandniece, Brittany.
Jerry enjoys snow skiing, snorkeling (not in central Ohio, though!), putting puzzles together on cold, winter nights (definitely in central Ohio!), card & board games (Dutch Blitz, anyone?), and trying to fight for the title of “Campbell Men’s Ping Pong Champion.” He and Susan love spending time with family and friends, and especially with each other.
