Senior Pastor

Pastor Riley Powell and his wife Karen are originally from Illinois. They have two daughters, Crystal who lives in Pelzer, SC, and April who lives in St. Louis, MO. Rev. Powell is an alumnus of Olivet Nazarene University and Nazarene Bible College. Before entering pastoral ministry he was a businessman in Springfield, Illinois. He has pastored churches in Peru, Urbana, and Collinsville, Illinois. Most recently, he was pastor for the Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene for over twelve years. He enjoys reading, history, sports and John Wayne movies.
